How To Stay Pale In Dubai
As a pale girl that doesn't look good in tan, staying pale while living in Dubai is a challenge!😸
Sun exposure is great for your health as it deposits Vitamin D, but too much exposure can be harmful for your skin due to UV rays.
UV rays cause:
-Premature skin aging
-skin cancer
So how do you protect your skin and STAY pale in Dubai ?
(something that sounds almost impossible at first)
well, its not . .
1. Your New Best Friend is Sunscreen
Yes ladies and gents, investing in a on a good quality sunscreen is essential for protecting your skin against skin aging, cancer, and unwanted tan.
Putting on sunscreen once in the morning is not enough, sunscreen loses its effects after 2 hours of application. So its best if you re-apply it every 2 hours.
2. Wear Long Sleeves and Maybe Consider Hats
No one wants to wear long sleeves in the heat of Dubai, unfortunately that's the price you pay if you want to maintain your porcelain skin complexion.
Other than protecting your skin, wearing a hat helps keep your hair strong and healthy. ( hats are also great if you just dyed your hair and want the color to last)
3. Exfoliate Your Skin
Exfoliating once a week is important as it gets rid of all dead skin cells, allows your skin to rejuvenate and breathe.
However, be careful not to over due exfoliating, too much exfoliation can backfire and end up damaging your skin.
4. Maintain a Healthy Diet
A healthy skin is from within 💖. .
By fueling your body with the right nutrients your skin is able to properly rejuvenate and create new healthy skin cells, nutrients like collagen, vitamin C, A & E as well as other fatty acids like omega-3 (which I like to get from walnuts as to from fish.) are all crucial for an overall healthy appearance.
